Flexography is becoming one of the most advanced fields in modern printing TORPOL at the Conference on the Future of Printing – National Stadium After Hours   There are events that change our perspective and give new meaning to what once felt familiar.The Flexographer’s Conference 2025 was one of those moments — an event that showcased the innovations of the future while revealing just how close we are to putting them into practice.   NEW CHALLENGES, NEW POSSIBILITIES Over three days of intense lectures, workshops, and discussions, we witnessed how traditional flexography is evolving into a modern technology — one that improves print quality, speeds up production processes, reduces raw material usage, and prioritizes sustainability and safety.Technologies such as automated production line monitoring systems, early-stage error-detection algorithms, and extended color gamut (ECG) printing are becoming increasingly dominant in the market.This isn’t just a technical transformation — it’s a philosophical shift in the way we think about printing.     A MASTER IN ACTION An invaluable part of the conference was the workshop led by Stefano d’Andrea — a true master of flexography.D’Andrea is someone who openly shares the secrets of his craft, using precise language that reflects the excellence of his work.His lectures felt like masterful stories, where every technique and detail carried weight. Thanks to him, we learned how small adjustments in production processes can deliver enormous benefits: improved efficiency, reduced ink consumption, minimized waste — and most importantly, enhanced final product quality.His insights were a treasure trove of knowledge, and his approach to the craft earned our genuine admiration. It was a lesson we won’t forget.   A CELEBRATION OF POLISH FLEXOGRAPHY This year’s conference was particularly special as it marked the 30th anniversary of the Polish Chamber of Flexography.It was a moment to reflect on the industry’s achievements and set a course for future development.And in this journey toward what’s next, the Torpol team continues to play an active role, closely observing market shifts and contributing to its ongoing evolution.
