TORPOL at the Teraz Polska Summer Club

TORPOL at the Teraz Polska Summer Club TORPOL took part in the Teraz Polska Summer Club, the annual meeting of the winners of the Teraz Polska Promotional Emblem. The event brings together companies, institutions and people for whom quality, trust and responsible development of Polish business have real significance.   TORPOL was represented by Aleksandra Lendo-Więch and Urszula Ostapowicz. For our company, being part of this group was an opportunity not only for meetings and conversations, but also for a broader reflection on what brand, quality and consistency mean in business today. The guests were welcomed by Krzysztof Przybył, President of the Polish Promotional Emblem Foundation, and Prof. Michał Zasada, Rector of the Warsaw University of Life Sciences. From the very beginning, it was clear that the Teraz Polska Summer Club is not only an official meeting, but also a space for discussing values that truly matter in business. Quality, responsibility and Polish business   For TORPOL, being part of the Teraz Polska community is important because this emblem has long been associated with companies that consistently build their market position. Not through one-time actions, but through everyday work, repeatability, reliability and responsibility towards customers. For over 30 years, we have been producing multi-layer paper sacks with LDPE liners for the food, dairy and feed industries. Our packaging is used by companies that pack products requiring proper protection, tightness and stability during transport. These include producers of milk powder, whey, food ingredients, flour, feed and other bulk products. In our industry, a well-designed paper sack is not just packaging. It is part of a process that protects the product, supports efficient packing, facilitates storage and performs safely during transport. Especially with bulk products, predictability, repeatable quality and adjustment to real operating conditions are essential. Words that build trust   An important moment of the event was the speech by Prof. Jerzy Bralczyk – an outstanding linguist, researcher of media language and public debate, and a long-standing friend of the Polish Promotional Emblem Foundation. His presence reminded us how important words are: in relationships, communication and building trust. In business, this is particularly important, because behind every product, service or certificate there is also a way of speaking with customers, partners and teams. At TORPOL, we understand this well. Work on packaging begins with a conversation: about the product, the packing line, transport, quality requirements and the expectations of the final recipient. Only then come the design, sack construction and production. That is why attentive communication is part of quality for us, just like technology, raw materials and process control. A jazz setting for the meeting   The event was accompanied by a concert by PROMNI Jazz Quintet. Jazz music is especially close to us because it reflects what we also value in business: harmony, attentiveness, sensitivity and cooperation. In jazz, every element matters. Technique, experience, listening to one another and the ability to create a natural-sounding whole are all essential.  Good cooperation with customers works in a similar way. Packaging must fit the process, the product and the conditions in which it will be used. There is no room for coincidence. That is why meetings such as the Teraz Polska Summer Club are important to us. They help build relationships, but they also remind us that quality is not a communication slogan. It is an everyday practice visible in decisions, conversations and responsibility for details.   TORPOL – packaging for bulk products   As a producer of paper sacks with LDPE liners, we support companies for which packaging is part of a broader system of safety and quality. This is particularly important in the dairy industry, where products such as milk powder or whey require proper protection against external factors and stability at every stage of the supply chain. The Teraz Polska Summer Club was another opportunity for us to meet people and companies that share a similar view of responsible development of Polish business. We are pleased to have been part of this event. We would like to thank the Polish Promotional Emblem Foundation for the invitation and the opportunity to participate in the meeting. TORPOL – packaging your business.

TORPOL receives the Eco Patron of the Arts Award.

TORPOL receives the Eco Patron of the Arts Award. Paper with a second life. TORPOL has been honored with the Eco Patron of the Arts award. This distinction reflects values that have been part of our company for many years. We believe paper is much more than packaging. It is a functional material that supports responsible resource management and, as this award demonstrates, can also gain a meaningful second life.   The Eco Patron of the Arts title recognizes our cooperation with EKO CYKL Packaging Recovery Organization S.A. and our support for educational initiatives that promote environmental awareness through art, creativity and experience. This approach is particularly close to our philosophy. In the packaging industry, sustainability should not end with declarations. Its real value lies in practical actions that inspire people and encourage responsible thinking.   Every day, TORPOL manufactures multiwall paper sacks with LDPE liners for the food, dairy, feed and bulk ingredients industries. Our packaging solutions help manufacturers protect their products while ensuring reliable production, storage and transportation processes. For products such as milk powder, whey powder, food ingredients, flour and animal feed, packaging plays a critical role. It must protect the product, support process stability and perform consistently throughout the supply chain. That is why we often describe our work as the art of packaging – combining technology, experience, material quality and a deep understanding of customer requirements. Paper, however, can go far beyond industrial applications. A great example is the project “Łączy nas Podlasie. Naturalnie!”, where MO.YA Fashion by Barbara Piekut created fashion pieces using paper produced by TORPOL. It was a unique combination of local identity, nature, fashion and a material usually associated with industrial packaging. Another inspiring initiative was our cooperation with Grupa Mixer, where TORPOL paper became part of an artistic stage design. These projects demonstrate that a material designed to protect powdered products can also become a medium for creativity, education and environmental awareness. For us, these initiatives have an additional value. They show that sustainability can be communicated in an engaging and memorable way. It does not have to be limited to regulations, reports or statistics. It can inspire people and encourage discussions about responsible use of the materials that surround us. As a manufacturer of industrial paper sacks with LDPE liners, we know that packaging is part of a much broader system. Strength, product protection and process reliability remain essential, but increasing attention is also being given to responsible material use and its potential beyond its primary application. Receiving the Eco Patron of the Arts award is a great honor for TORPOL and a reminder that paper can successfully connect industry, sustainability, education, art and local communities. We sincerely thank the organizers for this recognition and for the opportunity to be part of this inspiring initiative. TORPOL – We package your business.

TORPOL at INNODAIRY 2026 – conversations about packaging safety for the dairy industry

TORPOL at INNODAIRY 2026 – conversations about packaging safety for the dairy industry The 32nd INNODAIRY 2026 Symposium is now behind us – an event that once again brought together representatives of the dairy industry, technologists, producers and suppliers of solutions supporting the development of the sector. For us, participation in such a meeting is not only about being present in the industry. Above all, it is an opportunity to discuss how the needs of dairy plants are changing and what role safe packaging plays today.   During the event, we were present with our own stand, and TORPOL was represented by Monika Lipska and Aleksandra Lendo-Więch. Throughout the symposium, they held conversations with representatives of the dairy industry about packaging for dry bulk products such as milk powder, whey and other dairy ingredients requiring special protection. Packaging as part of the process, not only its final stage   The conversations during INNODAIRY clearly showed that packaging is increasingly less often treated only as the final stage of production. For many dairy plants, it is becoming one of the key elements of the entire process – influencing product safety, quality stability, logistics, storage and work comfort on the packaging line. For dry bulk products, tightness, mechanical resistance, repeatable parameters and an appropriate barrier function are particularly important. Products such as milk powder are sensitive to moisture and storage conditions, which is why packaging must be designed with the customer’s real working environment in mind – from filling, through transport, to the final destination. At TORPOL, we have been developing exactly this approach for years. We produce paper sacks with LDPE liners that combine the strength of paper with the protective properties of film. As a result, the packaging can effectively support product quality preservation and reduce the risk of losses across the entire supply chain. Conversations about quality, stability and safety   During the symposium, many conversations concerned not only the structure of the sack itself, but also how the packaging performs in practice: on the packaging line, during palletising, in the warehouse and during transport. Customers are increasingly asking about specific parameters, possibilities of adapting packaging to the process and solutions supporting food safety. As Monika Lipska emphasised: “Today, packaging must be predictable. For a dairy producer, it is important not only whether the sack protects the product, but also how it performs throughout the entire process – during filling, storage, transport and further use. That is why it is so important to design packaging for the specific needs of the customer, not according to one universal scheme.” This approach is particularly important for products intended for demanding markets and long-distance transport. Variable temperatures, humidity and multi-stage logistics mean that packaging must be stable, tight and resistant to the conditions the product faces after leaving the plant. TORPOL for the dairy industry The dairy industry has been one of the most important areas of TORPOL’s activity for many years. Our packaging is supplied to producers for whom food safety, hygiene and repeatable quality are the foundation of everyday work. That is why participation in events such as INNODAIRY is particularly important for us. It is during direct conversations that the challenges faced today by producers of milk powder and other dry dairy products become most visible. Growing quality requirements, pressure related to process optimisation and export development mean that packaging is becoming an increasingly strategic element of purchasing decisions. We would like to thank everyone who visited the TORPOL stand during INNODAIRY 2026. Every conversation, question and exchange of experience is a valuable source of knowledge and inspiration for further development. We return from the event convinced that the direction we have chosen – designing packaging for the real needs of the process, the product and the market – responds to the current expectations of the dairy industry.

TORPOL at the “Impulse for Agriculture” Congress. How the Industry Talks About Food Safety Today

TORPOL at the “Impulse for Agriculture” Congress. How the Industry Talks About Food Safety Today Szepietowo rarely appears in national economic debates. In May, however, it became a place where ministers, executives from major dairy groups, representatives of agricultural companies and financial institutions gathered to discuss the future of Polish agriculture. The “Impulse for Agriculture” congress, organized at the Podlaskie Agricultural Advisory Center, showed that discussions about agriculture increasingly cover the entire chain – from the field to export markets.   In one of the expert panels dedicated to food security and the competitiveness of Polish food production, Monika Lipska, COO of TORPOL, joined representatives of food processing companies and public administration. The company brought a perspective that is still relatively rare in such discussions: how decisions regarding industrial paper packaging for powdered products influence production stability, raw material losses and relationships with international customers. One of the key conclusions from the discussion was that, in times of rising energy, labor and transport costs, competitive advantage increasingly depends on the quality of operational decisions. For producers of milk powder, feed products and functional blends, this means precise management of packaging processes – from compatibility with filling lines, through warehouse performance, to minimizing transport damage risks. TORPOL emphasized that reducing packaging parameters too aggressively can eventually return in the form of complaints, production downtime or loss of export markets. The congress in Szepietowo also reflected a broader shift in the Polish debate on agriculture. Alongside traditional topics such as subsidies, regulations and commodity prices, there is now growing attention on supply chain resilience: who is responsible for the product at each stage, where losses occur and where process improvements should be implemented. The participation of companies such as TORPOL in these discussions signals that conversations about agriculture increasingly include industrial solution providers, not only food producers themselves.   This type of format – bringing together business, administration and industrial partners – moves the Polish agricultural debate closer to the standards seen in countries with strong food export sectors: fewer discussions about individual instruments, and more focus on how the entire industry model functions.

Torpol at Pack4Future

Torpol at Pack4Future 2026 – packaging quality and safety in times of regulatory transformation Regulatory changes affecting packaging, including the PPWR (Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation) and EPR systems, are increasingly influencing the daily operations of manufacturers. These developments extend far beyond legal compliance and now affect packaging design, quality management, and responsibility for the entire packaging lifecycle. These challenges were at the center of the Pack4Future Forum and managerial workshops, organized by FoodFakty.     Magdalena Gwoździej and Magda Stankiewicz represented Torpol at the event. The workshop-based format allowed participants to discuss upcoming regulatory changes from a highly practical perspective — covering legal requirements, implications for packaging producers, and the real impact on clients in the food and dairy industries.   During the forum, particular attention was given to packaging quality and safety, which are expected to be subject to even greater scrutiny in the evolving regulatory landscape. Discussions addressed topics such as designing packaging for recyclability, extended producer responsibility, and the need for greater traceability and transparency throughout the supply chain.     “This was a very concrete and practical meeting. We discussed not only the regulatory framework but also how new rules will influence production processes, design decisions, and cooperation with clients. For us, it is a clear signal that packaging quality and safety will increasingly be linked with systemic responsibility across the entire value chain,” said Magdalena Gwoździej.   Participation in Pack4Future marks another step for TORPOL in proactively preparing for the regulatory transformation affecting the packaging sector. Continuous competence development and active participation in industry discussions help the company better understand regulatory directions and responsibly develop its packaging solutions — with a focus on food safety, process stability, and long-term cooperation with clients.   Torpol returns from the event with new knowledge, valuable insights, and the conviction that the dialogue around packaging quality and safety will become one of the defining topics for the packaging industry in the coming years.   Let’s talk about your packaging standards  Let’s schedule a convenient time to discuss how our packaging solutions can support your company and ensure product safety throughout the supply chain.   We look forward to connecting with you!Torpol Team

Torpol after Gulfood

Torpol after Gulfood– international markets up close Torpol’s participation in Gulfood in Dubai offered a valuable opportunity to observe the food and packaging industry from a truly global perspective. This is an event driven not only by presentations and trends, but above all by conversations.     Torpol was represented by Urszula Ostapowicz, Aleksandra Jarząbek, and Nikola Lipska, who spent several days meeting both long-term partners and companies seeking stable and safe packaging solutions for export.   One topic stood out clearly during discussions: packaging as a decisive factor in product safety across long and demanding supply chains. Many conversations focused on resistance to climatic conditions, tightness, parameter repeatability, and compliance with standards applicable across different international markets.   As Aleksandra Jarząbek, Export Specialist at Torpol, explains, for many producers packaging is no longer an accessory. It is a tool designed to protect products over thousands of kilometers of transport, temperature fluctuations, and humidity changes. Predictability and consistent quality were recurring themes – areas where Torpol has long-standing, practical experience.   Gulfood also highlighted how diverse international markets are, while at the same time how similar their challenges remain. Across regions, producers increasingly expect packaging that: supports food safety, performs reliably in export logistics, complies with international standards, and responds to growing environmental pressure.       For Torpol, Gulfood was an important opportunity to validate the direction of product development and export strategy. PLANT POWER 4.0 – THE NEXT REVOLUTION IN PLANT PROTEINS

PLANT POWER 4.0 – THE NEXT REVOLUTION IN PLANT PROTEINSOUR KEY INSIGHTS FROM FI EUROPE 2025 This year’s edition of FI Europe 2025 in Paris confirmed what the industry has been signalling for months: advanced plant proteins are no longer a trend — they have become a permanent pillar of innovation within the food ingredients sector. “Plant-based” is no longer an optional category. It has become the new standard.   The exhibition halls were filled with premieres of technologies redefining how protein ingredients are designed and produced. Roquette, Ingredion, DSM Food Specialties, and Cargill showcased ingredients with enhanced sensory and nutritional profiles — from pea and chickpea proteins to microalgae and chia seed derivatives.    “Clients now expect ingredients that are natural, highly bioavailable, and produced in accordance with the highest purity and quality standards. This is accelerating the development of advanced filtration and enzymatic modification technologies,” notes Aleksandra Lendo-Więch, Sales Director at TORPOL.  According to Innova Market Insights (October 2025), the global plant protein market is growing at over 12% annually. As consumers increasingly look for short, transparent, clean-label ingredient lists, companies are implementing solutions that enhance traceability and environmental responsibility.    „At the fair, we paid particular attention to blockchain technologies and IoT systems enabling origin tracking and precise monitoring of carbon footprints,” emphasizes Urszula Ostapowicz, Business Development Manager at TORPOL.   FI Europe’s discussion panels focused heavily on sustainable supply chains and regenerative agriculture. Ingredion presented a full-cycle CO₂ reduction program, attracting investors who expect measurable environmental actions. „Sustainability is no longer an added value — it is the price of entry. At TORPOL, we also concentrate on solutions that connect food safety, functional performance, and environmental responsibility,” adds Monika Lipska, Chief Operating & Development Officer.   As Nikola Lipska, Trade Marketing Manager, highlights: „FFI Europe is where ideas meet practice. The breakthroughs in plant proteins clearly show that the future of the food ingredients industry lies in balancing technology, transparency, and social responsibility.”   Advanced filtration, purification, and enzymatic modification processes are overcoming the key limitations of plant proteins — flavour, texture, and functionality. As a result, plant-based products are achieving new quality standards, and their commercial potential is expanding far beyond dietary niches. Removing allergens, improving amino-acid profiles, and enhancing solubility are redefining what modern proteins can be.     Behind this technological revolution stands a quiet but strategic element: safe and functional packaging. It is packaging that preserves the purity and stability of next-generation ingredients. TORPOL — a producer of advanced, multi-layer paper sacks for the food industry — is developing solutions that protect protein powders and ensure controlled storage and transport conditions.   As the plant-based ingredient market becomes one of the key growth engines of the food ingredient sector, reliable packaging is not just the final link in the chain – it is a prerequisite for maintaining the quality standards required by a sustainable tomorrow.     Let’s talk about your packaging standards Let’s schedule a convenient time to discuss how our packaging solutions can support your company and ensure product safety throughout the supply chain.   We look forward to connecting with you!Torpol Team

ROYAL RECOGNITION FOR BUSINESS – TORPOL WINS MAIN AWARD

ROYAL RECOGNITION FOR BUSINESS – TORPOL WINS MAIN AWARD On 28 November 2025, we entered the Grand Hall of the Royal Castle in Warsaw with a deep sense that we were part of something important. A place where history has always served as the backdrop for weighty decisions became, that evening, a space for honoring companies that operate with integrity, responsibility, and principles that are verifiable in everyday practice.   source: EUROPERSPEKTYWY.EU   During the gala of the 28th edition of the “Fair Play Enterprise” program, organized under the patronage of the Ministry of Development and Technology and the Ombudsman, TORPOL received the Main Award and the Platinum Laurel (Special Certificate). This recognition affirms that the values we’ve followed for years have been noticed and validated in one of the most demanding verification processes in Poland.   source: EUROPERSPEKTYWY.EU   WHAT FAIR MEANS TO US For over three decades, we’ve been producing paper packaging for the food industry – especially for the dairy sector and ingredient manufacturers. We’ve always operated based on clear principles: stability, reliability, precision. These weren’t just slogans — they stem from how we define responsibility toward our clients and the people who make TORPOL what it is every day.   “In our industry, stability is a value. We’ve built it on honest work and consistency. This award tells us the path we’ve chosen makes sense,” says Dariusz Lipski, CEO of TORPOL.   We apply FAIR values to very concrete actions: raw material quality, audit procedures, repeatability of processes, and communication with partners. Every production stage is monitored, documented, and continually improved.   “Responsibility begins the moment raw material enters our hall. From there, every step is a process that must meet the standard. The client expects consistency, and we ensure the system performs every time,” emphasizes Monika Lipska, COO of TORPOL.   source: EUROPERSPEKTYWY.EU   RELATIONSHIPS AS PART OF THE PRODUCT The “Fair Play Enterprise” program assesses not only products and procedures but also how a company treats its employees, contractors, and local communities. We’ve always believed that product quality is inseparable from the quality of cooperation.   “Our partners care about technical specifications, but just as much about knowing they can rely on us. Transparency and accessibility are part of our daily work. That’s what our long-term clients truly value,” says Aleksandra Lendo-Więch, Commercial Director at TORPOL.   source: EUROPERSPEKTYWY.EU   VALUES THAT MOVE US FORWARD We operate in a reality of volatile raw material prices, growing ESG requirements, and intense supply chain demands. In these conditions, FAIR values are our compass. They guide our decisions and help us plan for technological, organizational, and competency growth.   source: EUROPERSPEKTYWY.EU   The gala at the Royal Castle was a beautiful moment — but the real evaluation takes place every day: on the production floor in Szczuczyn, in customer conversations, and in the work of a team that knows integrity is never abstract.   “The most important confirmation of our work comes from clients who return and develop new projects with us. The award is an honor — but it’s our daily practice that defines who we are as a company,” adds Dariusz Lipski.     For us, FAIR is a direction. One that doesn’t need to be declared — because it’s visible in action.   source: EUROPERSPEKTYWY.EU     TORPOL 🜲 35 years of trust.
