TORPOL – “Instead of Theorising, We Prefer to Show…”

TORPOL – “Instead of Theorising, We Prefer to Show…” At TORPOL, we believe the best way to express our values is not through theory but through action – in the way we work together, in our everyday interactions, and in the decisions we make. For us, clarity, mutual respect, and openness are not abstract ideals; they are part of our daily reality.   This August brought a week of meaningful change within our structure and our team – and much more than that. We begin with promotions that make us proud. Aleksandra Lendo-Więch, formerly Head of Sales, now takes on the role of Sales Director. Her consistency, maturity, and natural ability to build strong relationships have earned her this recognition. Aleksandra knows TORPOL inside out, and we are confident she will lead the sales team with assurance and commitment.   In our Production Department, we mark both a transition and a continuation of legacy. Anna Modzelewska, who for years led the department and mentored many specialists, has reached retirement age and decided to hand over her responsibilities to the next generation. From now on, Łukasz Stypułkowski will serve as Head of Production Engineering, and Magda Ladzińska will take the role of Coordinator for Production Planning and Approval. Together with Robert Samełko, Head of Production Logistics and Standardisation, they form a three-person team managing production. Importantly, Anna will remain with us, continuing to share her expertise – an asset we greatly value.   A key pillar of our organisation remains  Monika Lipska – Managing Director for Operations and Development. Monika consistently oversees the company’s operations, supports the team, and develops what matters most to us – people, products, processes, and partnerships. Her systematic approach and steady support are the foundation of our stable growth and long-term success.     These changes reflect what we value deeply – developing talent from within and passing responsibility to the next generation in a spirit of respect and close cooperation.   The week also brought another important event – our assessment as part of the Fair Play Enterprise programme. Maciej Rataj conducted numerous conversations with employees, management, and those shaping the company from within. Beyond document analysis, he examined daily practices:– Is there genuine trust in the workplace?– Does our structure support efficient operations?– Are decisions communicated with transparency?– Do employees understand the purpose of their work?   It’s worth emphasising that this is not a one-off initiative. Year after year, we choose to take part in this process because we see it as an essential part of our development. The Fair Play Enterprise programme sets standards that align with our philosophy. For us, it is not about another certificate on the wall, but an invitation to self-reflection. At TORPOL, values are not an afterthought – they are the standard we live by every day, in times of important personnel changes, during audits, and throughout our everyday work. We foster a culture where everyone can make a real impact. When something needs improvement, we act. When an idea arises, we talk. When someone needs support, we collaborate – never in isolation.   What we build inside our organisation translates directly into the way we work with our clients, suppliers, and the wider community. We do not have two versions of our company – one public, one internal. We are consistent, transparent, and true to who we are.   Photos © Torpol Sp. z o.o.   #DreamTeam

30 Years of the Łaciate Brand – Mlekpol

30 Years of the Łaciate Brand – Mlekpol On August 2, 2025, the Łaciate brand celebrated its anniversary — 30 years on the market, 30 years in Polish homes, on family tables, and in the hearts of consumers.   This is more than just a milestone. It’s a symbol of durability, quality, and trust — built every day through relationships with consumers, retail partners, and those who have supported the brand’s development for decades. Łaciate was launched in 1995 as the first UHT milk brand in Poland. It was immediately embraced by consumers and continues to hold a leading position in its category. Over the years, the brand has expanded its product range to include cream, lactose-free drinking yogurts, butter, cottage cheese, and cream cheese spreads — products that have become synonymous with freshness, natural quality, and everyday reliability.   Łaciate has received numerous awards — including Hit Handlu, Consumers’ Favorite Brand, Polagra Food Gold Medals, and the Highest Palatability distinction — becoming one of the most recognized symbols of the Polish dairy industry. It is also a strong ambassador for Polish exports. Today, Mlekpol’s products reach over 100 countries across six continents, with nearly 30% of its total production going to international markets. Together with government officials, industry partners, and the Mlekpol team, we had the honor of celebrating this exceptional brand — one that has become a lasting part of the Polish food market.   Not in the spotlight, not on the label — but behind the scenes, among partners who have stood by Łaciate for over 30 years, supporting its journey into both domestic and global markets. We returned from this celebration filled with reflection and pride — proud to have been part of it.   Our heartfelt congratulations go to the Mlekpol Management Board — for their courage, vision, and consistency in building Łaciate into a brand that spans generations. We thank the Ministry of Agriculture, ARiMR, Agrocentrum, all the partners present on August 2, and Dorota Grabowska, Mlekpol’s Marketing Director, for the flawless organization of an event that will be long remembered.     This anniversary doesn’t close a chapter. Quite the opposite — it opens the next one, with even more energy, responsibility, and awareness of the role that a brand can play in people’s daily lives. 35 YEARS OF TORPOL – OUR JOURNEY, OUR VISION

35 YEARS OF TORPOL – OUR JOURNEY, OUR VISION   When 35 years ago we took our first steps in the packaging industry, few could have predicted the path we would take. Today, with the perspective of these years, we look at our achievements with pride, but above all with humility towards the challenges that have shaped us. This journey has not been easy, but every experience, every decision, and every collaboration has made TORPOL what it is today – a company that sets the standards in the packaging industry for the dairy sector.     From dreams to foundations In 1990, we had a vision – to create packaging that would not only fulfill its function but also be real support for our customers. We started with the production of LDPE film bags, which quickly became an essential element of paper packaging. We knew that if we wanted to grow responsibly, we had to constantly improve quality and adapt to the changing market needs.   Decisions that changed our future Every year of our business has brought new challenges but also milestones. The investment in an LDPE extrusion line in 2000 was a crucial moment for us. We gained full control over the production process and could offer our customers quality that was not a matter of chance, but the result of conscious actions.   In 2007, after years of experience, we decided to produce multi-layer paper bags with LDPE inserts. This decision opened new opportunities and allowed us to establish partnerships with the biggest players in the dairy industry. However, we did not stop there. In 2018, we introduced our innovative products – HOT LOCK and EASY OPEN paper bags – responding to the needs of our customers who were looking for not only functional but also innovative solutions that make everyday work easier.     Modernity in service of values In 2020, we opened our new headquarters in Szczuczyn. This place is the heart of our operations, a symbol of our development, and proof of how technology can support traditional values. Every day, we use modern technologies to deliver products that meet contemporary challenges – from environmental protection to efficiency in production processes.   Looking to the future When we think about the future of TORPOL, we see a company that remains true to its values while boldly entering new areas. Ecology, sustainable development, innovation – these are not just words for us but concrete actions that we carry out every day. Looking at our achievements, we are grateful for the trust placed in us by our customers and partners. Thanks to them, we can celebrate 35 years of business and plan the next steps in our history.     Our Mission Continues 35 years is just the beginning. We still have much to do, much to discover, and much to offer. Our goal is not only to provide products but also to inspire the industry to strive for even higher standards.   TORPOL is not just a company – it is a commitment to quality, innovation, and partnership that never stops driving us forward.
